CUPE 2191 signs memo of settlement with Community Living Toronto

Developmental services workers in 90 workplaces across Toronto, members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), have signed a memorandum of settlement with Community Living Toronto.

“After 10 months of frustrating bargaining we’re pleased to have signed the memorandum and that our members have ratified it,” said Edgar Godoy, president of CUPE 2191. “Our members had no desire to be locked out or to go on strike. Our first and foremost concern is for the individuals in service and their families.”

Details of the memorandum will be released shortly.
